ABK 116 Row-Crop Cultivator “NITRO” with a Liquid Fertilizer Application System

Built on years of experience, the ABK 116 row-crop cultivator has now become even more efficient: the machine has been equipped with the “NITRO” liquid fertilizer application unit, allowing for inter-row cultivation and nutrient replenishment in a single pass.

Robust Construction - Reliable Operation

The application unit is mounted on an extremely strong, 120×120×8 mm hydraulically folding frame. The stable, heavy-duty construction of the machine guarantees a long service life and safe operation.

The hydraulic folding system features an automatically operating latch mechanism, allowing the machine to be switched between transport and working positions directly from the tractor cabin - the operator does not need to leave the tractor.

High Capacity - Fast Filling

The system features an 800-liter main Nitrosol tank, accompanied by a 70-liter technologic tank and a 15-liter handwashing tank.

Liquid application is powered by a PTO-driven pump. The system features a self-priming design, so filling does not require gravity feed from the supply tank.

Precise Application - Modern Control

Application accuracy is ensured by speed-proportional control, which regulates the applied volume based on data from the built-in flow meter and GPS antenna.

On the control unit, the application rate can be set between 60 and 300 liters/ha (different volumes can also be applied by changing the nozzles). The simple user interface (in Hungarian) allows the storage of three different application rates, so the desired setting can be activated with a single touch.

Automatic Operation at Headlands

During headland turns, the system automatically shuts off the application when the machine is lifted. Anti-drip valves built into the pipework prevent the liquid from dripping. The application can, of course, also be switched on and off manually.

Efficient Nutrient Placement

The liquid fertilizer is placed behind the cultivator tines, targeting the plant's lateral root system. It is applied from both sides via L-shaped drop tubes, directly next to the row. This method improves nutrient utilization and promotes rapid plant growth.

Easy Cleaning and Agitation

Maintenance of the machine is quick and simple. With a single push of a button and the opening of a valve, the system automatically flushes itself.

For liquids that require continuous agitation, a mixing nozzle ensures a homogeneous mixture is maintained, which can be easily activated by opening a valve.

The cultivator is equipped with standard road lighting and - like all of our products - is CE certified, ensuring full compliance with European safety and quality regulations.
