ABK-116 “Big-Matic” - 6-Row Row-Crop Cultivator with Fertilizer Application

The ABK-116 “Big-Matic” is a high-performance, reliable 6-row inter-row cultivator developed specifically to meet the demands of modern crop production. The machine is an ideal choice for the precise inter-row cultivation of corn, sunflower, and other row crops, while also providing efficient fertilizer application in a single pass.

Efficient Operation and Easy Transport

The cultivator features hydraulically folding wings that can be controlled from the tractor cabin. For transport, one row unit on each side folds up, bringing the machine's transport width down to just 350 cm, which corresponds to the standard size of 6-row cultivators set to a 75 cm row spacing.

The outer row units are equipped with an automatic locking mechanism, ensuring safe opening and closing without manual intervention.

Stable Operation in All Conditions

During operation, the machine's stability is ensured by two wide rubber wheels, which not only assist in steady tracking but also drive the fertilizer spreader mechanism.

High-Capacity Fertilizer Application

The cultivator is equipped with a 1200-liter fertilizer tank unit, guaranteeing reliable and uniform nutrient application.

Metering is handled by a proven auger system, which is suitable for solid fertilizers of various grain sizes. The application rate can be adjusted via a stepped sprocket drive, allowing farmers to easily set the desired volume within the range of 70-350 kg/ha.

Extremely Robust Frame Structure

The cultivator's frame consists of an S355 grade steel beam with a 120×120×8 mm wall thickness, ensuring outstanding durability and a long service life. This robust structure has proven its reliability in practice - no breakdowns or structural deformations have occurred to date.

The row units and tine holders are made of solid square steel, ensuring the machine operates stably even under the heaviest loads. The angle of the tine holders is adjustable, allowing for optimal working configurations in various soil conditions.

Precise Working Depth and Flexible Equipment Options

The working depth of the row units can be precisely adjusted using solid rubber gauge wheels. The machine can be equipped according to need with:

• Rigid or spring tines
• Plant protection discs
• Ridging tines (hilling tines)

This allows every farm to tailor the equipment to its specific cultivation technology.

Durable Fertilizer Tank and Quality Surface Treatment

The fertilizer tank is made of 3 mm thick sheet steel, which provides a long service life with proper maintenance. Its reliability is well demonstrated by the fact that several of the first tanks manufactured in 1999 are still operating in excellent condition today.

To ensure durability, the machine undergoes thorough degreasing and priming, followed by a two-component topcoat applied and cured in a hot air drying booth.
