KG-6000 Flail Mower - Maximum Performance for Large Farms

The KG-6000 hydraulically folding flail mower, with a 6-meter working width, has been developed specifically to meet the demands of large-scale farming operations. Its robust construction, outstanding mulching performance, and reliable drivetrain ensure efficient and economical operation in all conditions.

Versatile Application

The machine is excellently suited for:

• Mulching corn stalks
• Shredding sunflower crop residues
• Maintaining pastures
• Clearing weed-infested, overgrown areas

The 6-meter working width allows for the fast and efficient mulching of up to 8 rows of corn or sunflowers in a single pass.

Hydraulic Folding - Fast Transport

The flail mower is hydraulically folding; the two 3-meter wings can be opened and closed independently, allowing the machine to easily adapt to working conditions.

During operation, the machine rolls on 4 caster wheels, ensuring stable operation and consistent ground following.

Outstanding Mulching Performance

The KG-6000 is equipped with two rotor shafts, which can be configured upon request with:

• 192 Italian-made MUZZI Y-flails
• Or 72 hammer flails

The number of flails significantly exceeds that of foreign-manufactured machines, resulting in:

• A finer mulch
• A stronger suction effect
• A more even distribution of crop residues

The double-edged Y-flails are reversible, providing a long service life: a single set can mulch up to 1,500-2,500 hectares. Efficient operation is further assisted by two rows of stationary counter-knives.

Precise Balancing - Vibration-Free Operation

The rotor shafts undergo computerized dynamic balancing, which guarantees smooth, vibration-free operation. Should resonance occur due to severe flail wear or striking an obstacle, the shaft can be re-balanced at our factory at any time.

Innovative Solution Against the Center Uncut Strip

To eliminate the narrow uncut strip left where the two rotor shafts meet, a supplementary hydraulic motor-driven, vertical-axis mower unit has been incorporated, which:

• Operates with 4 Y-flails
• Has a rotational speed of up to 3,000 RPM
• Can be easily folded up out of the way when not in use

Reliable Drivetrain

The machine is equipped with Italian-made Comer gearboxes and PTO shafts, which have been proven among farmers for over 18 years. Power delivery to the rotors is bilateral, utilizing a 6-groove V-belt drive on each side. It features machined steel V-belt pulleys, which are significantly more durable and resilient than traditional cast iron pulleys.

• Adjustable Rear Hood: Features an openable tailgate. Operating with a closed hood achieves a greater suction effect and a finer mulch (ideal for corn and sunflowers).
