KB 303 K Hydraulically Side-Shiftable Flail Mower
The KB 303 K flail mower is a reliable, high-performance implement developed specifically for agricultural enterprises and farms. It is the ideal solution for the regular maintenance of weed-infested areas, pastures, field margins, shelterbelts, and orchard inter-rows. Additionally, it can be effectively used for mulching various plant residues, prunings, and crop stalks.
During transport, the machine is carried as a fully mounted implement, while during operation, it works in a ground-following mode, ensuring stable operation and easy maneuverability. The frame can be hydraulically side-shifted by up to 50 cm to the right of the direction of travel, making the machine highly suitable for clearing areas along field edges, ditches, fences, and other hard-to-reach places.
High-Performance Mulching
The rotor is equipped with Italian-made Muzzi hammer flails arranged in four rows.

Robust and Durable Construction
The structure of the KB 303 K flail mower is built specifically for intensive use:
- Housing shell plate: 5 mm thick
- Side panels: 10 mm thick
- Rotor tube: 168 mm diameter, 10 mm wall thickness
- Flail mounting lugs: 15 mm thickness
The hammer flails are secured to the rotor using M20 bolts and self-locking nuts. Thanks to the heavier-gauge materials, the machine's weight exceeds that of many Western, and particularly Middle Eastern-manufactured machines, providing more stable operation and a longer service life.
Vibration-Free Operation
The rotor shafts are calibrated using a computerized dynamic balancing machine, resulting in extremely smooth, vibration-free operation. The precision of the balancing is demonstrated by the fact that a glass of water can be placed on the running machine without vibrating off. If necessary, the shafts can be returned to us for re-balancing.
Reliable Drivetrain
Drive power is supplied by an Italian-made Comer gearbox, transmitting power to the rotor via a 5-groove V-belt drive. The required PTO speed is 540 RPM. The advantage of using a machined steel V-belt pulley rather than cast iron is that it will not crack or break during bearing replacement, ensuring a longer service life.
Precise Ground Following
The working height is controlled by an adjustable steel rear roller, which also assists in precise ground following. This is particularly advantageous on uneven terrain, such as areas rooted up by wild boars.
