The KB-320 offset flail mower is a high-performance, reliable implement specifically developed for the needs of agricultural producers, municipalities, and institutions. It is an ideal choice for the regular maintenance of weed-infested areas, pastures, field margins, shelterbelts, ditch banks, and orchard inter-rows. The machine effectively mulches plant residues, prunings, and crop stalks, allowing the area to be quickly and easily brought into a tidy condition.

The design of the KB-320 allows it to be carried as a fully mounted implement during transport and to operate in a ground-following mode during work, ensuring stable operation, safe handling, and excellent maneuverability.

Efficient Mulching - Professional Flail System

The flail mower is equipped with Italian-made Muzzi hammer flails, which have a hardness of 42 Rockwell and weigh 1.35 kg each. This design ensures excellent mulching performance, even in denser vegetation.

The 168 mm diameter rotor tube with a 10 mm wall thickness and the 15 mm thick flail mounting lugs provide a solid foundation for the flails' operation. The flails are secured with M20 bolts and self-locking nuts for maximum safety.

The rotors are calibrated on a computerized dynamic balancing machine, ensuring that the implement operates with extreme stability. This stability is well illustrated by the fact that a glass of water can be placed on the operating machine without vibrating off. The rotors can be returned to us at a later date for re-balancing if needed.

Reliable Drivetrain

Drive power is supplied by an Italian Comer gearbox, which transmits power to the rotor via a 5-groove V-belt drive. The required PTO speed is 540 RPM, making the machine easily compatible with most agricultural tractors.

The V-belt pulley is machined from steel, making it more durable and resilient than traditional cast iron pulleys; it will not crack or break during a bearing replacement.

Compact Size - Versatile Application

A tractor with a minimum of 80 HP is recommended to operate the KB-320. The machine can be fully offset to the side of the tractor, making it highly suitable for:

• Maintaining ditch banks
• Clearing slopes and embankments
• Managing roadside areas
• Mowing hard-to-reach strips

The working angle adjusts from 50° downwards to up to 90° upwards, giving the machine exceptional flexibility across various terrain conditions.

High-Quality Accessories

The machine comes standard with a Walterscheid double wide-angle PTO shaft, which allows safe operation at steep working angles. With a standard single-joint PTO shaft, the machine could only be operated in the inline, retracted position.
